Charles Parker, III

Charles W. Parker III passed away peacefully on December 17 at Coastal Hospice at The Lake.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Amanda Jones; his mother, Shirley Mary Parker; his father, Charles W. Parker Jr.; and his brother, David H. Parker.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Brandi Parker; his sons, Bryan Parker (Billie Joe), M. Allan Bailey (Jennifer), and Stephen Kunkowski; his brother, Rick Parker; his sister, Debbie Breeding (Scott); and his brother-in-law, Michael Reynolds. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A true craftsman, Charles spent most of his life as a brick mason, working for many years alongside his father and brothers. His hands built more than walls-they built a legacy of skill, dedication, and pride in a job done right. He approached his work with humility, steadiness, and a deep sense of responsibility, earning the respect of those who knew him through his craftsmanship.

Beyond his trade, Charles had a lifelong love of music. He generously shared that passion by running sound for many bands over the years, always working behind the scenes to help others shine. Whether through music or masonry, Charles took pride in doing things right.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date to honor and remember him.
