Irene "Amy" Laird, 71, of Easton, MD, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, following a brief illness. She enjoyed reading, traveling, hiking, and chasing sunsets. Amy cherished spending time with family and the people she loved. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the greatest joys of her life.

Amy is survived by Mark, her husband of 54 years; her daughters: Michelle (Matt) and Christa (Ray); her grandchildren: Samantha (Jeremy), Shanon (Connor), Shauna (David), Jackson (Karla) and Maia; her great-grandchildren: Leon, Noah, Forest, Lily, Raeanne, Eli, Irene, Autumn, Emmaline, and Rosalie; her sister, Kim and nephews Jared, Josiah and Levi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mitsuko, and her beloved dog Keiko. Her family will honor her memory with a private celebration of life service. Amy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. May she rest in peace.
