Joseph F Caliendo, 79, of Ridgely, Maryland passed away at a care facility in Cambridge on January 9, 2026, following a short illness. He was born August 22, 1946 and grew up in Bayonne, New Jersey. He is a 2-tour Vietnam Veteran who served with the 82nd in the 101st airborne between 1966 and 1968. He had various occupations to include prison guard, carpenter and retired as a CDL truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, cruises, family, church and especially singing. He was a devout Christian and used his beautiful singing voice to glorify God. He is predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Margaret Caliendo of Bayonne, NJ. He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years Rebecca K Caliendo, his sister Maureen, his brother Andrew and his very close nephew, Jeff Harman and wife, Laurie as well as numerous other nieces and nephews and extended family.
