Judy Cherone

Judy Marie Cherone, age 64, of Preston, Maryland died October 10, 2025.Judy Marie Cherone, of Preston, Maryland, has succumbed to her battle against cancer. Born on August 21st, 1961, in Cambridge, Maryland, she was preceded in death by both her parents, Joyce Kate Retallack and Richard Potter. As both a mother to three sons and a sister, she is survived by her beloved children, Daniel Baldwin and his wife, Kimberly Baldwin of Oxford, Maryland, Craig Baldwin and his wife, Shannon Baldwin of Easton, Maryland, Herbert Murphy Jr. and his wife, Grace Murphy of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Camden, Everly, Julian, Willoughby, Bella; and her siblings, Anne Rizia of Bethlehem, Maryland, Allen L. Wingate of Easton, Maryland, and Cindy Jones of Bethlehem, Maryland. Judy Cherone spent many years serving the Eastern Shore with her commercial cleaning business. She had a deep love for crabbing with her mom, family, and friends. She also had no hobby greater than her passion for making arts and crafts, which she'd spend countless hours, especially during the holidays, creating beautiful ornaments and cards for those around her. Judy was baptized alongside her youngest son, Herbert Murphy Jr., and kept her faith in her Lord & Savior until the very end.

A celebration of life will be held with a gathering of family and friends (Date is still to be determined).
