Linda Dotson

Linda Christine Murphy Dotson passed away on December 27 2025 at University of Maryland Easton Hospital after a long battle of COPD. She was 57 years old Born on May 23 1968 to Bartlett and Florence Murphy she was raised in Tilghman Island.

Survived by her two sons Jamie (Heather) and Kyle (Brittany) Dotson ; her cherished grandchildren Adam, Liam, Alaina.Colt and Brooklynn; her siblings Teresa (Craig) Karen Sue (Jimmy) Pam and Bart and many Aunts Uncles Nieces and Nephews. She also left behind her cherished Dear Friend Whitney Wilkins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Bart and Florence Murphy and Grandparents Alex and Nannie Haddaway and Wade and Tuck Murphy

Sissy has the best laugh and kept a positive outlook until the very end of her life. She loved everyone and had a heart of gold. In her younger years she was a force to be reckoned with. We will all miss her so much A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the St. John’s Chapel in Tilghman. Donations can be made to the St. John’s chapel in honor of her.
