Linda Fischer gained her wings peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on September 10th at the age of 74.
Linda was one of the most loving, generous, and caring women you could ever meet. She was deeply loved by her family, friends, and many throughout the community. No matter what struggles she faced, Linda always showed up with a smile and a kind heart. Her warmth, generosity, and love for others touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda was a woman of strong faith, and her faith was an important part of her life. She found joy in the simple things that made life beautiful-tending to her flower garden, spending time with her family, and especially celebrating Christmas, her favorite holiday.
Christmas was a time Linda cherished deeply. She loved bringing her family together and watching the excitement and joy on their faces as they opened their gifts. For Linda, the greatest gift was not what was wrapped beneath the tree, but the love, laughter, and togetherness shared with the people she loved most.
Linda recently celebrated 55 years of marriage to the love of her life, Robert Fischer. To Linda, family was everything. Her greatest joy was the love she shared with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her seven children, Lisa, Kristi (Jimmy), Kelly (Garrett), Jamey (Craig), Jason, Robyn (David), and Rachel (Harvey); 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Frances (Bootsie) Riggsbee.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Kathleen Dulin; her siblings, Emory (Billy), Alma, and George; and her grandson, Raymond Jenks Jr.
Linda leaves behind more than memories-she leaves behind a lifetime of love. She taught those around her the importance of family, faith, kindness, and finding joy in the moments that matter most. Her smile, her laughter, her generous heart, and the love she gave so freely will live on through the people she loved.
Her family will forever hold close the memories of Christmas mornings, time spent together, flowers blooming in her garden, and all the little moments that made life special simply because Linda was there. Although there will be an empty place at the table and a heartache that words cannot describe, her love will always remain.
Linda may have gained her wings, but the love she gave her family will never leave them. She will live on in every hug, every family gathering, every Christmas morning, every flower that blooms, and in the hearts of the many people who were blessed to know and love her.
Until they meet again, her family will carry her with them-forever loved, forever missed, and forever in their hearts.
