Phyllis A Rizia

It is with deepest of sorrow to announce the passing of Phyllis Ann Rizia (Potter) of Easton, Maryland, at 66 years old. Born in Cambridge, Maryland on October 28th, 1959, Phyllis, better known to many as Ann, has departed on July 16th, 2026 after a long hard fought battle with cancer and COPD.

She was preceded in departure by our beloved mother Joyce Kate Retallack of Preston, Maryland, her father Richard Potter of Cambridge, Maryland and our sister Judy M. Cherone of Preston, Maryland.

Ann is survived by her son Allen (Nick) Rizia and his wife Erica Rizia, both of East New Market, Maryland, and her grandson Alex Rizia; a brother Allen Wingate and sister Cindy Jones, both of Easton, Maryland.

Ann was known by so many after 25+ years at the Golden Corral and the Easton Diner. As many friends and family members know, if Ann had something to say, she would tell you. To her friends and family, Ann loved you! Ann will now join our mom, sister, and many other loved ones.

May you suffer no more Ann.

As of yet, a celebration of life has not been scheduled. We will keep our loved ones posted.
