Stacy Marie
Stevenson
Jan 21, 1984 — Jun 25, 2026
Stacy Marie Stevenson, 42, of Cambridge, Maryland, passed away on June 25, 2026. Born January 21, 1984, in Baltimore to Jimmy and Rose Norwitz, Stacy grew up on the Eastern Shore and graduated from Parkside High School. She built a 24-year career at Davis, Bowen & Friedel as a Coastal Designer, a role that she was very proud of, in which her dedication, expertise, and warmth touched colleagues and clients alike.
Stacy was known for her abiding love of the water and her deep devotion to friends and family. She was unfailingly kind, the first to lend a hand, and the steady presence that made gatherings brighter. Whether on the shore or sharing a laugh around a crowded table, Stacy made others feel seen and loved.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Stevenson; her parents, Jimmy and Rose Norwitz; her brothers, TJ Stambaugh and Steven Norwitz (Heather); her brother-in-law, Allen Stevenson (Heather); her nieces, Abigail Ewell, Harleen Norwitz, Chelsea Stevenson; her nephew Remy Stevenson; her aunt, Wendy (Ron); her uncle, Mike (Leslie); and several cousins whom she adored. She was also survived by her best friends, Jeffrey and Stefanie Ellingsworth, and loved their children, Tyler Meisnholder, Colby and Anslee Ellingsworth as if they were her own. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, including Charles & Patricia Puglisi, her maternal grandmother Claire Lugenbeel, and her In-laws Marion and Leona Stevenson.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Redmen Lodge in Fruitland. Family and friends are invited to share memories and honor Stacy's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes stories, photos, and remembrances that capture Stacy's kindness and her love of the water, so her generous spirit may continue to ripple through the lives she touched.
