Wendy Thomas, born on July 12, 1971, in Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2026, at the age of 54. She was residing in Cambridge, Maryland, at the time of her passing.

Wendy will be remembered for her kind heart, free spirit, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures. She found happiness in the outdoors, especially spending evenings around campfires with family and friends, and she had a deep love for music that brought comfort and joy to those around her. Her warmth, compassion, and genuine nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew and loved her.

She is lovingly survived by her sister, Francine Black of England; her daughter, Felicia Thomas of Florida; and her beloved grandson, Ayson of Florida.

Wendy also leaves behind her lifelong best friend, Karen Willard, whose friendship with Wendy began in elementary school and remained unbreakable throughout their lives. Together they shared countless memories, stood by one another through life's challenges, and at times opened their homes and hearts to care for each other when it was needed most. She is also remembered with love by Karen's husband, Chad Willard, who became a dear friend to Wendy, and by Ashley Taylor and Daniel Willard, whom Wendy loved as her own niece and nephew.

Wendy's unexpected passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved her. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on through the love she shared, the laughter she inspired, and the countless cherished moments that will never be forgotten.

A private memorial service will be held by the family to celebrate Wendy's life.
